A Day At The Zoo

We have finally had some cooler weather this week. Today Isaac and I went to the zoo.  It was so nice to actually be able to do something outside and not feel like we were going to pass out from the heat.  He had a blast.  Though I am not sure if he enjoyed the people or the animals more.  I didn't get much in the way of designing done today since I opted to spend the day outside with my son.  However, I did finish up a special treat for Friday.  Make sure you stop by as I will have a gift from me as well as from a friend and some news about how to get some really great freebies...

A Crazy Week

My week has been crazy and unfortunitly that means I have not gotten to spend the time I wanted to on my computer.  I have a couple home projects that I have taken on and they have taken up whatever little free time I can manage.  Isaac is growing by the minute and has me on my toes almost every minute that he is up.  Wouldn't change it for the world though.  We have company this weekend and then I am hoping that my life will be able to settle back down into some sort of routine.  I promise to have at least one freebie up on the blog early next week.

I am back and have a freebie

Sorry that it has been a few days since I last posted.  I was really hoping to post every day this month.  However, with a teething baby and a lot of hours at work this week that just doesn't look like a realistic goal for me.  I have been trying to spend at least a few moments designing each day and really hope to be able to continue at it.  I have a few more freebies that I am working on to go with the Summer Fun: Yellow mini kit that I have been working on and will be posting them just as soon as I finish them up.  Today, however, I have a quick page that you are welcome to grab.

Hot, Hot, Hot!!!

It was a hot one today.  We broke 100 degrees today with a heat index near 115.  Entirely too hot if you ask me.  Isaac and I enjoyed the day inside in the A/C!  I hope that everyone enjoyed the papers that I had up for grabs yesterday.  Today I have a few elements to coordinate with those papers.  Enjoy and I will be back with another surprise tomorrow.

With An Hour to Spare

Wow has it been a crazy day.  I wasn't able to spend any time designing today before work so I wasn't sure if I was going to get todays download done in time or not, but I was determined to get the freebie up before going to bed.  It is now 11:00 and I have it finished which means I have an hour to spare. :)  Enoy

Summer Fun In August

It is unbelievably hot and humid here!!  August always makes me think of summer with all of this heat.  I have decided to challeneg myself to work on my designing every day this month.  And since it is August I decided that this little challenge is going to be called Summer Fun.  Today I worked on creating a color swatch and then broke that color swatch up into several different pieces.  The first I am going to be working with is yellow.  So for the next week you are going to be able to collect pieces to a mini kit I am going to be calling Summer Fun: Yellow.  I will be getting down to business tomorrow with my designing, however, I did promise you a freebie today so while working on the color swatch I did create a small little wordart for you.
