Our Daily Lives

So this year I have decided to dedicate myself to makiing a family album.  The past two years I have successfully kept up with my albums for Isaac but haven't taken the time to do a family album.  With the new little one on the way and knowing that more of my daily photos will not necessarily be included in both of their albums I feel it is time to get back to doing family albums.  To keep it something manageable and something that I will keep up with I have decided to do a two page spread for each month and focus mostly on the photos and journaling.  So as I set down to do my January Layout I was so excited to work with MC Designs latest kit, Our Daily Lives.  The kit was perfect for those everyday photos!  I hope you will take a few moments to go check out her kit and that you enjoy the layouts that I prepared with it.

Some New Templates to Play With

OK anyone who knows me knows that I LOVE templates!!  They make it so much easier to get to the fun of the layout but getting the creative juices a jump start.  Well one of my favorite template designers has a new set of templates in her store.  Alegna Designs released In the Mix 8 today and it has four fabulous templates in it.  And you can be assured that I will have layouts with all four templates in my gallery in no time!

My Little Guys Pit Stop

I always enjoy going back and using some of my favorite kits again and again.  Inspired by Dominic and Pixiemama Designs' kit Finish Line is one of those kits.  The colors are fabulous for any little boy layout and the elements are always fun to play with.  When I snapped this photos of my little guy last month I knew the exact kit I was going to use to scrap them!

Looking For Inspiration

OK, so as you know, I am a template addict!!  I love a good set of templates to help spark inspiration for my layouts.  Today, Jellebelleke's Designs just released a new set of Templates, Simply Blue Vol 2.  I absolutely love these templates!!  They are so much fun and create some beautiful layouts.  I especially love the use of white space in these layouts.
